Arvind Krishna is the Chairman and CEO of IBM, a role he assumed in April 2020. With over 30 years at IBM, he has been instrumental in expanding new markets in AI, cloud, quantum computing, and blockchain, and notably led the $34 billion acquisition of Red Hat. Under his leadership, IBM has sharpened its focus on hybrid cloud and AI, driving significant growth and innovation. Arvind Krishna joined IBM in 1990, rising to Senior Vice President of Cloud and Cognitive Software from 2017 to 2020, where he pioneered IBM's hybrid cloud business.
