Matt Murphy
Matt Murphy has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marvell Technology since July 2016. He has been instrumental in transforming Marvell into a leader in data infrastructure semiconductor solutions, driving the company's strategic pivot towards high-growth markets like cloud, 5G, and automotive. Under his leadership, Marvell has pursued significant acquisitions and achieved substantial stock growth. Matt Murphy became CEO of Marvell in July 2016, leading a significant transformation to focus on data infrastructure and growing the company's enterprise value tenfold. He was recognized as the Silicon Valley Business Journal's 2019 C-Suite Award Top CEO of a Large Public Company and named Institutional Investor's All-America Executive Team Best CEO in the semiconductor category in 2018. Prior to Marvell, he spent over two decades at Maxim Integrated, holding various leadership roles including Executive Vice President of Business Units and Sales & Marketing. Murphy also served as Chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) in 2018 and became the GSA Board Chair in 2022.
